We don’t claim anything is “completely secure”. This page says exactly how Omnia Studio protects your company’s data today. What we are still introducing is clearly marked coming soon.
In place today
- Sign-in only with your company account. The app can be accessed only with your company’s Microsoft 365 business account. External accounts cannot get in, and anyone who is not on your team list sees nothing.
- Everyone sees what they need. Access is set by role. For example, camera crews and field staff do not see sales, quotes or prices.
- Encrypted traffic. All traffic between the app and the server is encrypted (TLS), on the web, mobile and desktop.
- Calls encrypted in transit. Voice and video calls in Messages run over Cloudflare’s network and are encrypted on the way between participants and the server.
- Face ID lock. You can lock the app with Face ID, so nobody who picks up your device can open it without you.
- AI does not learn from your data. The assistant runs on Anthropic models, with Google models as a fallback. Both are used through paid business API services whose terms do not allow your data to be used for model training.
- Data in Europe. Data is stored in Europe: Microsoft 365 in the EU (Microsoft EU Data Boundary), and the app’s files and messages in Cloudflare data centres in western and eastern Europe. Parts of the temporary cache may sit on Cloudflare’s global network.
What we are introducing
- Demo with no traffic.coming soon “Explore Omnia Studio” will run on fictional data with no network traffic at all: nothing is sent and nothing is fetched.
- End-to-end encrypted calls.coming soon Only the participants will be able to hear and see the call, not the server it passes through.
- Private conversation in Messages.coming soon Messages are encrypted on the device, so neither the server nor the Assistant will be able to read them. A security code lets you check you are talking to the right person.
- A record of every access.coming soon A log of who opened which data and when.
- Mandatory lock.coming soon Your company will be able to require the app to lock for everyone on the team.
